OMFG...those engines are rediculous! 18,000rpm and each piston going up and down in each cylinder 300x per sec. WOW! And we bitch about revving to 7000rpm...LMAO!

That's crazy how quickly they rev. I love the sound of a nice v8 but damn those f1 engines sound sweet. I remember back in the day renault (of all people) well they had a little minivan concept thing with an f1 engine.
The Ilmor engine is pretty badass. The last year they were in production, before Mclaren bought Ilmor, the 3.5V8 was making 825HP.
