BMR K member, I bought it due to a pissing match between me and some guy at umi.

I didnt paint the engine bay cause like he said it cleans up easier and to spend another 3-4 hundred dollars to have it done plus to wait another month at least to have it done, it wasnt worth it to me. All the 1st gen hugger cars had black engine bays so I always think about that when I wonder why I didnt get it done.

I would really like to see some picks of your car with the drag lites on it. As soon as you get them up that would be awesome! The car looks badass by the way to hell with painting the engine bay way to much trouble, like you said all the first gen cars had black bays.

Nice job on the car, but I have to ask, why the hell did you leave the side mirrors black? They look terribly out of place. If your buddy buddy with the painter, try and get those suckers painted. Otherwise, very nice!

I tried to keep it o.g
The hugger color only came in the 99 cars and they had black mirrors.
I think it looks better myself also, and the f bodys from 93-99 v8s had black mirrors and black tops, thats how they was distinguished.

Yeah, I know that's how they were distinguished, but if your already paying for a nice paint job and the car obviously isn't stock, then why not do the mirrors? DO you mean you think the black mirrors look better or you mean that the orange mirrors look better, but you wanted to keep it stock?
