how tall is your garage? sorry for the questions. i removed my motor from the top but i think itll be easier with the turbo **** on to install it from the bottom with everything assembled.

My garage has 10' high roof and I had lots of room. I didn`t even take the hood off.

It is way easier to take the motor out the bottom. You are not leaning on the car as much. Less scratches or damage to the car.

If you have not removed the motor from the bottom before a good book to buy is.

How to Build High-Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 v-8s.

This is a great book Step by step instructions. It tells you what to take apart so you don`t break ****.

If you are doing a turbo install, thought the bottom is the only way to go.
