January picture of the month entry thread. READ FIRST POST!
The point was brought up about having the rules listed in the first post of the entry thread. Good point. We need to start doing this again. We did in the beginning but it slowly went to the wayside because it seemed as if people knew what the deal was.
I read the part about having the moderators pick 5 pictures and let you guys choose the best. I will talk to the other moderators about the idea but for right now, we'll continue to do it the way we have. Nobody has complained about how we chose the pictures (except that time PendragonZ chose a dodge neon as a winner
) so we'll stick with this for now but entertain this new idea. I'll create another sticky where you guys can post of possible rules you want enforced and we'll go through those and see what ideas you guys have.
But for now....the only rules we have enforced.
1. Only one picture per entry. No multiple pictures. I suggest you choose the best one and post it because if we see multiple entries from you, we will just delete your pictures except for one.
2. Cellphone / low quality pictures won't make the cut. We look for the best of the best. You don't necessarily need a $1000 dollar camera, but a 2 dollar clearance camera won't help. We've seen a lot of good pictures turn out from average cameras.
3. No QUOTING PICTURES! When you quote someones post with a picture in it, it wastes space. We delete posts that quote pictures.
4. People come to LS1tech.com to check out LSX specific vehicles. If you've got an LSX in it, post of a picture of it. Anything else, don't bother. If people wanted to check out Toyota Supras, they can go to a supra website. Not hating on other cars, just saying keep those cars to their websites. Posts of non-LSX vehicles will be deleted. LS1tech is for LSX vehicles.
5. No pictures of mountains and beaches!
6. Have some fun. Get creative and try to make your vehicle look as badass as possible.
