hennessey's track is almost always marginally prepped. they have gotten the track a lot better in recent months.

Nissan GTR ran a 11.6 @ 121 by Edmunds.com just posted yesteday. They flew out to Japan and someone who just bought one let them test it.

ah.....that didn't impress me at all. For being a henessey viper, that plain sucked. A bone stock 07 C6 ZO6 w/ just DR's and a killer driver can come close to that. The ZR1 will eat that vipers lunch BONE STOCK. Wait till some GM tuners get a hold of it, pulley swap, headers, bolt-ons, tune will just about pimp slap any viper out there short of a TT viper, but then again swapping out the blower on the new ZR1 for a TT set up will still corn hole the viper.

for the guy mentioning how much the bottom end can take, i've heard that the LS9 bottom end is a FULLY FORGED bottom end. I'd be willing to bet the damn thing will be able to handle upwards of 900+ hp. ~Cole~

It obviously wouldn't walk it considering he would beat it to the finish line. Maybe from a roll race. But since when does roll racing take precedence over the actual 1/4 mile drag strip? The poster you are referring to would have obviously smashed that 11.8 Viper, "No contest".

Wow, that's it, huh? The way everyone was talking about this GTR being the almighty smasher of everything, including the newer Vipers and Z06s, those numbers don't back up that claim by the farthest stretch of the imagination. Hopefully we'll start seeing some better numbers from them the longer they've been out.

And I know they have the fastest time on some road tracks when compared with the Z06, but to claim that it's a Z06 smasher, it shouldn't win in certain races and lose in others (ie 1/4 mile).

I have no idea which is going to be faster, The vette does well with 2 less cylinders, either way if ANYONE HERE WANTS TO BUY ME EITHER CARS PM ME NOW!!! I'll pick up where ever u live doesn't matter the drive. I will never be able to afford either cars but i can dream. now I think i'll take a nap and dream...unless of course nine ball wants to give one away for christmas.. pick me
