Vengence camshaft Idle Heres the VRX5 idling through longtubes and a Ypipe. I like the way it sounds, but i'll probly put something on it to make it a little less (throw me in jail) conspicuous.

holy f&ck dude!! it was loud and mean!! i was really looking at that cam too.. that cam is way too big for my liking..lol.. what kind of #'s are you putting down? how is it daily driving that cam?

Daily driving is cool. I get about 20mpg on the highway. and havent done a lot of city driving due to my exhuast, Im going to the dyno in a few weeks. I expect to at least get 415 to the wheels through my converter, then add a 150 hit. So we'll see!
Im a little confused, cause it seems like no one has this cam? or people do and never dyno it, ive done a lot of searching too. It makes usually 10rwhp less then the vindicator (so im told) but I did manage to get on it from 65+ and it pulls harder than my car did with the 125 shot. so im ready to hit the track!

yeah im surprised nobody else is running that cam!! it is a mid 230 duration cam!! hopefully your vid might have more people running that cam.. hey did u have any p to v issues or had to flycut fitting that cam with your stage 2 heads?

im guessin youll do 415 locked... im not really impressed with the vindicator cam. a buddy of mine just got one and it didnt really dyno what everyone says it would..and its on a 02 car with no miles on it..im not goin to put him on front street so ill leave it to that.. just not impressive for a LARGE cam at all

Good job Dealing with Vengeance. Great bunch of guys who know their stuff. Not sure why the fella with the Vindicator didn't have good results. Have him give Ron or Mike at Vengeance a call. I'm sure they will be more than happy to help.
how many rpms are you running at idle?
it has 13* overlap, So that car should lope like crazy. Maybe its cause you are running straight out of the Y, I just figured it would lope more.
