You might want to pull the front cover first, since it's easier than pulling the trans. You could be missing the oil gallery plug in the front or you could have the spacer for the oil pump flipped upside down. But if you know that you got everything in the front straight, then good luck with the tranny. I hated pulling the tranny worse than the motor.

Well I can access the rear pretty easily. And what do you mean by the Oil Gallery Plug? I made sure when I put the oil pump spacer on that it was flipped the right way. If the plug is in Im going to have to pull the front cover anyway.

We got 25 psi right now and I had read that rear plug can cause low pressure if not installed.

There are 2 plugs, the plastic plunger in the back of the motor and a freeze plug in the front of the motor near the oil pump. Leave either one of those out and you'll have oil pressure issues.

Yea Im in bowling green Ky. Also the smoke is steam off the header wrap.

Well I checked both plugs and they are both there. So I took the shims off my pump and just my luck I drop the damn thing so I dont know if it was on right or not but we are going to pull the pump off and try another pump and get that shim back out.
