Evilways' Sat. Dragstrip adventures caught on video!
I used to get the same **** for doing a burnout with my radials when my 97 was a bolt-on and spray car. It ran 7.90's with a flowmaster and a compucar 100 shot and 60ed in the 1.60 range. Everyone always asked why I did such a big burnout on radials . Because the car wouldnt hook if I didnt thats why. BTW what kind of stall do you have and what happened to your TA. Me and joncr96z reconized you from back in the day at piedmont.Nice times.
Supposed to rain, but I probally wouldn't make it this Sat anyways. I'm curious about the 1320X/PINKS thing they got going for the weekend of the 4th of July. You know anything about that?

tried to go around a few times, especially early into ownership of the vette, but the 60fts were 2.0's or higher. Same as with no burnout. I agree that sometimes water gets on the fronts and leaves a trail for the rears to slip in, I get it, but what I do seems to work best for the vette so far. I may try a complete dry run next time out, no burnout, no water, just footbrake to low rpms and roll into from the last light until wot at about 20-30 ft out.
that's awesome man i got the black 94 you ran. never thought I be on video on here that run you had (1.88@60' 11.548 124.44) mine was13.01@107.34 w 1.936@60'

Nice...glad I finally got to see someone on the forum at the track and run them. I know there's alot of guys that race around here, but most go to the 1/8th mile tracks. I went down this past Friday and tried out some MT drs, man, the car didn't like them at all, switched back to the street tires for the rest of the night, but the track went away badly. I got sideways 3 different times on my 2-3 shift and called it a night before the car ate some wall. Hope to see you down again sometime.
