Everyone always asked why I did such a big burnout on radials . Because the car wouldnt hook if I didnt thats why. BTW what kind of stall do you have and what happened to your TA. Me and joncr96z reconized you from back in the day at piedmont.Nice times.
Cool...man it's been a long time since Piedmont and that TA. I currently have only the stock stall in the C6. If they did a decent converter for the A6, I'd probally do a total swap of gears and verter, along with a beefier diff /shafts.The shafts and diff are the only real weak link in the C6 that myself or others I've talked to have found. I've seen them shattered like glass with slicks and 450rwhp. As for the TA...man...some ***** rear ended the TA while I was dead stopped...hit me at about 45-50 MPH without hitting the brakes...hit so hard, it tore the headers off the block and wedged both doors closed.I had it fixed back , drove it a little while, just wan't the same in my head, so I disclosed the accident info and sold it. I still miss that car.

Supposed to rain, but I probally wouldn't make it this Sat anyways. I'm curious about the 1320X/PINKS thing they got going for the weekend of the 4th of July. You know anything about that?

Maybe you could do a 1.7 60' if you didn't drive straight through the water box.

tried to go around a few times, especially early into ownership of the vette, but the 60fts were 2.0's or higher. Same as with no burnout. I agree that sometimes water gets on the fronts and leaves a trail for the rears to slip in, I get it, but what I do seems to work best for the vette so far. I may try a complete dry run next time out, no burnout, no water, just footbrake to low rpms and roll into from the last light until wot at about 20-30 ft out.

Nice...glad I finally got to see someone on the forum at the track and run them. I know there's alot of guys that race around here, but most go to the 1/8th mile tracks. I went down this past Friday and tried out some MT drs, man, the car didn't like them at all, switched back to the street tires for the rest of the night, but the track went away badly. I got sideways 3 different times on my 2-3 shift and called it a night before the car ate some wall. Hope to see you down again sometime.
