I had on full gear so just a couple bruises and was sore the following week. Rear ended the blazer at about 40mph. I was checking my mirrors, looked up and had enough time to lock up the rear tire but not enough time to stop. Bike was totalled, got another just like it a week later. Been riding for almost 4 years now and it was the first time I'd ever wrecked or laid one down.
Unfortunatly for me it was my fault, but i didnt receive a citation...I think the cop felt bad for me.
Be careful man...always expect the unexpected. Pretend like you are invisible on the road when riding.

Gear is the most important thing when riding - some many people have been killed because of not wanting to wear any gear..A good friend of mine slid 150 ft with full gear on and only game out with minor burns (from friction), he was going a little faster then what he should of been doing but you never know...
