If he plans on breaking the hearts of Lightning owners, then I hope he has something planned.

When I finish my car. I will get started. I have a N2o kit to go on it. So I think a converter, headers, a 150 shot, and ls6 cam and intake should do the trick. The truck ran a 16.29 the way it is now, but if I sell MY car I would like to do a LS7 swap.

Very nice. I love single cab trucks! I'd worry about the appearance first before you start performance mods. If it were my truck, I would remove all the emblems and badges on the tailgate. I'd also tint the windows and paint the bowtie on the grille white to match the rest of the truck. These trucks have alot of potential in the performance department. What size engine do you have...5.3?

^^^ I think the gold bowtie looks good, painted ones just don't look right IMO

LOL, you've got a point, haha. Let me rephrase it then. What are your plans for it? Sorry about that.

Nice looking truck!

You've got a long way to go before you can compete with stock Lightnings though.

Not really with the cam, headers, ls6 intake, and converter it will be in the low 13 range. That is stock lightning territory and I don't have a SC. 150 shot of spray and the lightning is the one that better have some **** done. These trucks are alot lighter than the lightnings. Besides If I commit to what I want to do with the truck and do an ls7 swap then I wouldn't even consider a lightning a good race, maybe a cobra.

Lot's of "ifs" huh? If I had a LS7...if I had headers, a cam, intake, a converter,
nitrous, etc...

It runs 16's until you actually do something.

Again, very nice truck though. I'm looking to buy something similar.

HA! HA! I already have the nitrous, converter, and shift kit. The LS6 cam and intake are coming out of my friends CTS-V. He bought a set of AFR and a custom grind cam for it. So I will be getting his stock LS6 stuff. So it's not 'if', it's 'when' I put it on. Should be in a month or two. I am real busy getting my L92 408 ready. Don't have an LS7 so that is an IF.

This is consuming my time right now and I'm sure it will out run a lightning and maybe even a cobra
