Default My '02 Z28

Here's a few pics I snapped of my 02 Z28 this morning. Shots were taken with a Sony Alpha100 DSLR w/Minolta 70-210f4 lens.

I've owned the car about 4 months. For reference, here is a photo I took of the car the day I picked her up...

The car was a little rough as you can see. I've since had the car repainted, added the wheels/tires, lid, stainless longtube headers, stainless ory, hooker catback, and slp bowtie grill.

Next mod will either be a converter or nitrous kit. Eventually the car will have both, just debating on which one to do first.

Tires look a little to wide on the front for the rim, but clean car...huge improvement!

I think so too. But I got the rims/tires used. So it was a package deal. They are 285s all the way around. I just can't justify taking Michelin Pilot Sports with 80% tread off just because a 265 might be a better fit!! For 800 bucks for rims/tires I was not going to complain.

Really clean. I'd give it a mild drop (if you can). I don't know if you can since the front tires are pretty wide.

We ended up doing about 80% of the car. The paint was flaking on the back bumper as well. By the time we did the bumpers, fenders, hood, and blending...we essentially did the whole car.

It will get a slight drop when I'm able to replace the rear tires. The front tires aren't really a problem at all, the rears are the issue. The wheels/tires came off of a Corvette. The rear tire is a 285/40/19. Its a 28" diameter tire. It fits, but there is no room for it to come down any. I just can't bring myself to pull them off when the tread is so good on them still. I will eventually be putting 285/30/19s on the back which bring it back to a 26" diameter tire, then I should be able to drop it about an inch. I will likely do a 265s tire on the front at the same time.
