I know a worked supra would kick my *** on the highway, but that's alright , cause theres none around my area that I know of. Are they even that impressive from factory, all you ever see is wicked fast supras and skylines that are pushing way more than 20psi but never see a stock one with bolt ons go race a camaro or firebird. I'm not saying the fbody is gonna kick its ***, just havent seen any videos like this. I guess if you want your car to sound like a weed wacker or leaf blower,or sport bike, then yeah I guess the supra sounds awesome.
Well "bolton" or BPU and BPU ++ Supras will dyno btw 400-475rwhp depending on how many ++ or additional mods beyond a downpipe, exhaust, boost controller and BCC (boos cut controller) as they will hit fuel cut at anything over 15 psi which occurs when the downpipe is installed. With the true twin conversion in which the factory wastegates are wired in parallel mode eliminating the sequential setup, they make considerably more top end power.

These cars are very impressive in my book although I do hate the import or should I say ricer and fanboy scene behind them.

As far as sound, I think supras and skylines sound absloutely wicked. Do i prefer my Borlamouth, ORY and longtubed car to it. Yes but they still sound awesome.

^ Remember, the domestic scene has annoying fanboys too.

Fanboys in general are found on both sides...

Good point bud. I see it just as much with domestic guys as well. Ignorance is bliss.

Looks like the TA is more than the supra can handle, even with more boost....

*searching for video*

They're not terribly impressive in stock form by today's standards.
But for 15 years ago...they weren't too bad.
0-60 = 4.6 to 5.0 seconds
1/4 mile = 12.8 to 13.1 seconds or so

And for the record, I've raced a few f-bodies when I was stock, and they were pretty even, with the exception of the older LT1s and such, which I could take.

I've got bolt ons now (BPU) and I can usually hang with, or outrun the regular bolt on f-body guys pretty good, but am still having trouble with the C6s and the boosted f-bodies.

That STS kit is a byotch!
