They're sticky. I've had street slicks and these hook on the street right there with them but have yet to try them out on the track. They do wear fast and dust the rear of the car in black rubber dust.

 

man, I think what you're doing is great. They should be more appreciative you're taking your personal time to do these for us.

 

The "HDR's" you are creating seem like just high contrast "tone mapping". Try to make the changes subtle, then tweak them to make it just surreal enough to suit your needs. I am just not a big fan of the completely contrasted out pics.
