Re: Photoshop requests!
Can you put:
These wheels....
on:
This car....
I know you kind of did it in the previous post, but because my actual car pic has 28" tall DRs, it made the wheels look like 14s or something...
Here are some more pics of the wheels, if you need them:
More wheel pics....
Thanks, Shawn

Re: Photoshop requests!
Hrm, I'm having issues ftp'ing to my site. I'll try
to get this up later.
OK, time for doOdfromcali to step up like he has.
I'm in a pickle until I can get in touch with my
server guy. Something is wrong with my site, and
I can't post anything new to it.

Re: Photoshop requests!
OK,
for starters I'm thinking changing the yellow in the headlights to the NBM.
if you're still bored you can swap all the yellow to silver with the headlights in the NBM.
And another, you may add a billet grille if you would like.
If you do more than one feature, please keep the pics seperate through the stages.
oh I've got clear corners now as well so you could add them if you're interested.
TIA

WTF, every hosting place I pick ends up eventually not posting correctly!

Re: Photoshop requests!
Quick question about photoshop 6.0
How do you change the color of part of an picture while retaining the shading/reflection of the original? I can change the pic to a color but all the details are gone. It just becomes a solid color.
Thanks,

Re: Photoshop requests!
I'm guessing your speaking of changing paint colors, or something
similar. To do this, outline your area with the lasso tool, or whatever
other tool you want. Make sure to remove headlights or chrome or
whatever else you wanna leave alone. Now, go to image>adjust>hue/saturation,
and play with the hue till your hearts content. If the image starts to get
a little "boxy", you'll know what I'm talkin about, then lower the
saturation a little.
This btw, only works on cars that are already colored. If you have
a car that is black, white, or silver (grey) then you will have to do
some serious playing around.
Take your outline that you had before, and make a new layer. On this new layer
use the fill tool or paintbrush to fill in whatever color you want to
go to. Now, you will want to play with the opacity and the blending modes.
This is in the layers box, try multiply, color, lighten, overlay, or make a few
layers and try combinations.
If anything isn't clear, I'll think about doing a real tutorial with some
screen shots to show you guys, but right now I'm having issues with my
web server, so I can't post anything new.

Thanks...
I'll play around with it, but this image may be beyond me(White + Smoke). I'm trying to make the car black.
Here is the pic.

Supply a pic of the billet grill you want. I don't have time to go searching for pics, especially with PendragonZ out of the game right now with his server. It would really help a bunch
Thanks,
Mike

I only speak for myself but that tutorial idea would be great. you've done some nice work. I work with AutoCAD daily and figure I can catch on easily if I am shown how. I've got a p6 bible but damn is it heavy, take me awhile to get through it all.
I got all the above but what boggles me is the reflections and lighting. I can fill something in but it looks so unrealistic.
