Default Need a good cry? Wrecked Z06

A good friend of mine who works at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green sent me these pictures. They were taken on southbound I-65 here in BG last week during a nice little winter storm.

Edit: in before "That ****'ll buff out!"

bet ya it's not even totalled. It may need a roof and windsheild and some paint. i mean there is not direct shot of the front so idk if it's got front end damage but it doesn't look too bad really. Still sad as it's MY black one i want~Cole~

Im thinking the front is pretty screwed up too. There is a lot of structure under a semi trailer back there. Also...I kind of figured the hit screwed up the electrical system, or he would have atleast put the window back up. Why ruin the interior AND the exterior. haha.

Ide like to see the front of that puppy.

J.

Hmm...Maybe the tires from the trailer hit it... that would probably tweak things pretty bad if it was a slow enough hit. Any harder and it might have went over the front end even.

Ouch, and the windows are down probably cause there are no windows left, I would imagine they were up and with it hitting the trailer like that and shifting the windshield back it probably broke the windows out.

Why?!?! Probibly should have thought it over before deciding to take the Z06 out for a ride...

Snow/ice + Performance tire + light weight vehicle = Asking for trouble

I feel bad for the car and owner, But it could have been a lot worse.
