Texas Mile Pics

This event was pretty cool. Had never seen it before. I was planning on racing but didn't get car prepared in time and ended up just spectating.

I was supporting the Autobahn crew, they were out there trying to protect their street car record of 228 mph in the mile.

The weather wasn't the greatest but at least the rain held out for people to get runs in.

Autobahn eneded up running couple of 226s.

Boostlogic showed up with SW driving and went 229 in their first pass.

The white older porsche in the pics went 220, sounded sick.

The Dallas viper ran 214. I didn't see him on Sunday so he must have had problems.

So boostlogic had the fastest mph?!

I wish i could have attended, but i cant go to Houston 2 weekends in a row...it gets to be a beating!

didn't run it. Needed to replace the windshield and get an alignment and it didn't happen in time.

the owner was wearing a shirt that said LS1>* so I assume he was running a LS1 swap

I tried to get a picture of the shirt, it was funny lol.

its a 68 charcoal grey with black stripes camaro. he comes out to kellers on nw hwy by 75 every sat and sun. its a nasty big block with alot of spray, built tranny, nice rear end, 4 link, the works.very nice guy.
