Anyone here actually gone out and tried to drift on a track? Aside from the reputation it's gotten, it's so much fun to try to do the car control. More like hollywood stunt driving then anything sports like but it's a lot of fun.

On that note, all track racing is - is keeping your car under that fine edge where it loses grip, and begins to drift. In that case most drivers then proceed to slam into the wall or skid off of the track. It began as a recovery method used in well, almost any motor sport...even in bike racing they drift a bit. and became a sport in it's self once people began to figure it out.
I think of it this way...It's like a sprinter or a long distance runner ignorantly trying to say a gymnast has no skill.
Anyway on a non-serious note, the video is just to be funny...obviously...no need to get butt-hurt over it and defensive and have the 'drifting is the gay man butt sex of the motor-sports world' attitude.
