So funny to me that LS1 guys are the biggest haters of anything import-related....even worse than Mustang guys.
...meanwhile there's plenty of cool f-body and vette guys that get along with everybody else on supraforums.
Maybe douchebaggery has an age limit and it's the kids that are so obnoxious over here about that ****.
I dunno....just an observation.

in another thread there were some members of this site bashing an evo VIII that made 1130hp and ran in the 8's. and people weer saying that the car was crappy and still an evo with 1130hp

Sticks, yes, the points go to the Supra, but with autos Supras and F-bodys are more "evened" out.

Supras are pretty damn badass. Especially from an engineering perspective, the engine is forged, the trans, engine, and rear end take all kinds of abuse at 500+rwhp, completely stock. They look badass as well, more radical than anything Toyota has ever made, yet it doesn't look overdone and ricey, like the last gen Celica. What's really neat about them is the technology is 15 years old and still world beating.
I wish Toyota would build another mark 4 Supra. Just let their engineers and stylists have complete free reign(must be RWD though), cost be damned, world beating type of car. I guarntee they could make a profit on a turbocharged six cylinder rocket ship that cost under $100k and gave the Zo6 Vette a run for its $$$

There are two turbo Supras here in Indy that I would put against a turbo busa and put my money on the Supras.
One of them I have been very involved in tearing it down and soon to be building it.
Last year one of them made 6XX rwhp on low boost and at 4k RPM, more and sooner then any other 6 speed single supra.
New motor has larger cams and turbo, more port work on the heads and a TH-400. He has WAYYYY WAY less then 50k in the car including the cost of the car, still has the stock bottom end with upgaded rod bolts.
The other one allready make 1,200rwhp plus.
Most street turbos busas can't race from a dig, even streched and on a sticky most still pull the front.
Busas even stock are sick but roll racers if you ask me. Does not take a 7 sec car to beat one and good luck finding a 7 sec car to race from a roll........

#1. It's hard to take down a stock Busa. This post was just a cool vid of a car that not only did it, but put about 10+ bike lengths on the bike too. The thread has been nothing but "ehh IF" "from a roll..." and "50k in the supra..." "mod the busa..."
