looks like a lot of smoke to me.

You need to go educate yourself and watch some Hot Street
events. Even the Factory Stock guys will walk all over your car.
You do understand that Ford dominates damn near ever race
right? Drag radial is owned by Ford. Pro Outlaw is owned by Ford.
Super Street Outlaw is owned by Ford. Etc, etc, etc. The LSx
cars aren't in the same universe in terms of ET or traps.
Wake up to reality.
Here's a nautrally aspirated car built by SAM racing (students)
that runs 8.70's @ 154mph.

Anyway not trying to start a Brand war here, both have pro/cons and I personally love them both. OK I'm done now!

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Bottom line is who ******* cares what comes factory or not......Everyone knows its whos got the most money wins. Go get your 464LSX block with a 800 shot and race a big turbo mustang. Im sure Millen or Lynch would love to drag that *** in the 1320........My point is anyone can make a car fast for whatever reason.....who ******* cares if its a daily driver, race car, drifter, dragster, GM or Ford, Supercharger or N/A. I have both entities sitting in my garage right now and I like both of them for diff reasons (ok the Mustangs a little more fun)..........So do EVERYONE a favor, get over your self and make your shitbox what ever you want......no one cares.........
Who will win?
Money buys EVERYTHING.That includes suspension and a proffessional driver to drive your fast car in case you're bad at it.
All of your statements stink of close minded fanboy-ism...

That last comment is not in the same universe in terms of anything factual ever said in the history of man kind.
That's a nice 8 second mustang, but I'm sure there are 8 second civics built out there as well.
9 second naturally aspirated daily driven Ford's for you?
...and I'm the idiot. Please.

Again, wake up to reality. We all love the LSx platform. But the fact
of the matter is that they just can't compete at the highest levels
right now. Maybe someday, but it's going to be quite a few years.
etc. You'll know my comments are true when you can't find one. I'm a huge
fan of the LSx stuff...trust me on that...but I'm also a realist.
It was one example of thousands.

I don't know the rules of these organized events so I'm not gonna comment on them.
I said your last comment, the one in bold black letters.
The only reason why I'll say that there are probably more FOX bodied 9 second mustangs out there is because they're an awesome canvas for a drag racing car. But F-bodies aren't far behind.
I don't know how often you go to the track, when I do, I see mostly old F-bodies and Fox bodies.
Bullshitting aside, you and I don't really know how many 8 second cars each side has.
A quick search from SVT performanced showed only ONE person in in the 8 second mark. Supercharged Fox.
On LS1tech I know of at least 4, 8 sec NA cars.
Sure, there are plenty out there who don't post their cars online. But again, we just don't know.
So your comment about LSX not being the same universe as Fords is wrong.

about message boards and magazines.
BTW...you mis-interpreted my comment about LSx's not being in the same universe.
That applied to drag radial, SSO, Pro Outlaw, etc...and that couldn't be anymore
true.
You're the one who posted that picture of an 8 second mustang (on the internet).

But tell me this, are the guys who run 8 seconds on LS1tech and SVT performance lying? Many of them have videos and proof, but I doubt I'll have to go dig through that **** just to prove you wrong.
I never mentioned magazines.
Even though I did say that I DO GO TO RACES AND NOTICE THE AMMOUNT OF F-BODIES AND FOXES.
What difference does it make if I sat through every ******* drag race ever ran and counted the ratio of F-bodies to mustangs or not?
That's a redundant statement that proves nothing.
I didn't mis-interpretted anything. I don't really care if car A. which is faster than car B. can't win a certain competition because his tires are too wide. Organized events like that really don't indicate how much a car is better than the other.
