Learn to get facts before spouting ignorant comments. The dyno gave out, that's why the engine blew. It's been posted here many times.

How does the dyno giving out cause the engine to blow?

^^ brake can go out and cause the car to sit at redline or too high of an rpm. sounds like that engine went flat and blew though.

I'm sure he wasn't expecting the dyno to do that. Let's see how fast your reaction is when you're at 5k+ RPM and suddenly the wheels spin freely as if they're in the air. By that time, it was too late.

The wheels arent freewheeling, they are on spinning rollers that weight a crap load. I dont think that car had a 300 shot on it either, it didnt rev at all when nitrous was turned on. A 300 shot sounds alot more violent than that, lol.

Well, they may not be completely free of friction, but they're definitely allowing the wheels to spin faster than if the dyno were in working order.

I will agree to this statement, but that is not the reason that that engine blew.
