Default 518RWHP pull from today

Nice and quiet.

http://home.comcast.net/~SlowassTA402/cappeddyno.wmv

Friends have told me it sounds like a stock LS1 with a cat-back...unless it is idling.

Apparently the TTII's (instead of ProStars) and steel driveshaft eat up more than expected.
Although...that was capped.

Car picked up 2.1MPH in the 1/4 mile though...so these numbers don't concern me.

I can accept that. Take the caps off next time, Slowass sounds weak.

I kinda like it actually.

Sounds like a stock LS1 with a cat-back. I get played with more often this way.

The dyno corrects...the track doesn't.

But yeah...according to a popular DA calculator, the car would go 10.6 at 131MPH if it got a zero DA.
Can't claim it until it happens though.

Where's the closest track that's near sea level? You're about 900 miles from mine. It's at 500ft. above sea level though.

Ennis???

I have my fingers crossed...but I hope to run there in October.
Might end up being spring '09 though.

Nice man. Mind if I ask what exhaust setup you're running? Seems to flow well and I'm always looking for a quiet setup that flows well

Thanks!!

TSP 402. Makes peak power right around 6000RPM...and just flat lines to 6600 from there.
It's best dyno was before some power robbing driveline components...at 531.1.

You running 3" or 2.5"? - only gripe I have with my current TD's is they're 3" and are a bit low for comfort.

Tucked up very nicely.

I originally had 3" duals all the way back...but the 9" didn't fit. So we took it down to 2.5" over the axle.

Best shot I have...
