4.10 gears in 2000 Firehawk Finished up installing 4.10 gears in buddys 2000 Firehawk. Unsure of exactly all mods, but i know it has a cam and is silly quick. Im a Mustang guy but the F-bodys rear ends are pretty much the same so i lended a helping hand for a good friend and fellow tech. I cant remember his name on here, but im sure he will chime in. Decided to snap a few pics, my mustang is down right now getting a make over ( H/C/I and blown ). So it was REALLY nice of him to let me take it for a ride....Needless to say im a LSx lover. haha.

We were there half the day, but wasted alot of time driving for bearings, eating lunch, and screwing around. Id say we prob. actually worked on it for MAYBE 3-3.5 hrs.

Ill tell ya, the cam made a big difference, but the gears compliment the cam really well, and the car seems like a totally different machine with the combo! Now I cant wait for the long tubes, intake, and heads!!!

No problem Scotty. Yeah gears dont take very long. It was fun....and driving it too. Its like driving a terminator or any other mustang with boost.....except it didnt have boost. Just a sick motor.

Yup. I bought the tires and wheels used, the rears were very used! Ill be replacing them soon. Ill be re-doing the catback soon also. its kinda loud with hollow cats and a cutout.
Ill also be washing it today. New England roads are good for that. Well still have residual dirt on the roads in July!!!

Its not the car in my sig, was full bolt on and still too slow. So i sold it and picked up a 93 LX 5.0. Its a 302, gt-40x turbo swirl heads, f-cam ( 512 ) trickflow upper and lower, 75mm TB and egr, Vortech S-trim and intercooler.
