I'm not exactly sure, but most automotive assembly lines crank out 60
vehicles per hour at max production. That's one vehicle per minute.
In theory, it would take 1 hour for a ZR1 to be assembled and driven
off the end of the assembly line.

My father use to work for gm... back in the late 80's they would do around 56 cars an hour. I believe he said from start to finish, around 36 hrs total. But he worked at Lindon in NJ they did buick, cads, and olds. Sweet video thanks for posting it man.

Just got back from corvette plant last month. I was told they make 165 Corvettes per day and only 8 XLR's per day. The cars arent built round the clock either. I stood there as the "marriage" (when the driveline meets the body) took place on a blue ZR1 and I was talking to the guy that bolted the LR in place and he said he sees about three ZR1's go through in a day.
