My F250 6.0l powerstroke is jetted for 150 but barely picks up 100hp, it runs mid 12's with tuning, exhaust and nitrous, 13.40 without nitrous. We actually street race it more than the cars!LOL!
This Excursion has been 8.2's in the 1/8 on slicks, he also has a 98 Cobra with a T88 up at MPH right now but the car has been down so long he started fugging with the diesel haha!

The ONLY thing that Excursion will do with a 200 shot on a stock tune is SLOW DOWN. You have to have the extra fuel to burn to make extra power with nitrous on a diesel. The stock tune won't cut it. It has at minimum a good tune in it. And to run 8.2's he needs near 550 rwhp.

So he hung with a TBSS that runs 7.8's in the 1/8 on a setup that is slower than boost only? Riiiiiiiight. He has an adjustable fuel pressure regulator also.

The programmer didnt work and couldnt get the tune off the PC at home so it had NO tune that night.

Im not doubting he hung with a 7.8 TBSS, its very doable. But not without a tune. Unless his nitrous is a wet kit? And that adds a whole nother level to diesel tuning which only a couple people have mastered. Did DJ set up his Excursion for nitrous?

Thats what i was thinking(wet kit), DJ is one of the few who can make a wet kit work wonders on a 6.0l. DJ does the tunes for my F250 and it runs high 7's(1/8) with his "Looney" tune and and a 150 shot of nitrous.

Come on now be serious. You have a v8 stang that has one of the cheapest engines to get parts for on the market anywhere. Of course the talon will have more cash into it. It's a 4 cylinder and it's gonna take more to get make what that stang can make.

The fact that in this day and age you can have a 4 cylinder car running with or beating v8's is pretty cool. Hell even 7-10 years ago you didn't see 4 bangers running like this that often.
