Ferrari guys talkin smack. Like the 360 with ceramic brakes will stop in half the distance of the Z!
Z wins 3-2. Beats it on the road course by 16 secs. Beats it on the 60-120MPH by 5.1 secs. Ferrai driver says that the engine is 50% the size of the Z. Forgot to mention that the Z is also 250% less than the price 360. Beats it on the short track by 3.3 secs.
Z loses on the 100-0 braking test by about 8-10. Wonder why the Ferrari driver did not mention he has ceramic brakes? Z loses on the skidpad 1.2 to 1.1.
Enjoy

Ya mean they actually pulled out the ol' displacement/horsepower-per-liter card LOL.

I won't even get into fuel economy between the two cars.

I like the F360 and have been following their prices lately, I can get a decent one for under $120k right now. But then the idea of a possible $5k+ a year in maintenance costs just to keep a quickly depreciating used car on the road hits and scares the hell out of me, especially when it's notably slower than my far more fuel efficient and virtually maintenance free Corvette.

while carbon-ceramic brakes

the new Ferrari has a set of super brakes - Brembo’s CCM carbon-ceramic brakes, like that used in the Enzo supercar
These two links say it does indeed CCM. Maybe depending on year?

Same goes for the F430 (standard street car) and then there's the more potent and lighter Stradale version.

How come the narrator seems like he keeps mentioning the engine of the vette like he is making excuses. Another thing is he downplayed the 3.3 seconds on the short track which in racing its a blowout, but he says barely wins by just 3 seconds.

Keep in mind that there are standard F360 Modenas and the special Ferrari Challenge/Stradale semi 'race prepped' street cars, the latter might come with the carbon brakes. That could be where the confusion/discrepancy is.
Same goes for the F430 (standard street car) and then there's the more potent and lighter Stradale version.

Ok. Thanks for the clarification.
