A personal friend ran 8.60's @ 165mph with a stock '03 Cobra engine
in a fox body 'stang. I love guys like you who have "seen" something, but have
no personal experience with it. I have seen "2 Fast n 2 Furious" also...so I know
that all civics run 10's.

I have "seen" a C6 Z06 run 13.80 @ 114mph. That must mean that C6 Z06's are slow
as ****.

Can you share with us your expertise with mod motors...or are you one of those guys
who reads something on the internet once...by someone they don't know...about something
they know nothing about? That's my guess.

I'm sure barely cracking into the 11's in a LSx car makes you an expert on everything.

Impressive from Ford's standpoint IMO for making an engine that can
withstand the power output.

I personally think that the car is under achieving and its down on power
for a car with twin 70's and the other mods it has.

Other mods it has? I thought it was stock engine? Or are you referring to intake and exhaust?

If that truly is an internally stock motor, I mean bone stock from cam covers to oil pan, than that is CRAZY impressive.
Hell, even if it isn't a totally stock motor it's still damn impressive.

Wow, I'm thoroughly impressed.

Not impressed with stock trim, but stock sucks regardless of car.

Now I know the engine is stock according to the video, but is that a drag suspension, etc.?

IRS? Solid axle?

Slicks and skinnys for sure, but it didn't look like it was floating around near the end of the 1/4, leading me to believe they tweaked some stuff here and there..... Anyhow, great performance out of a stock motor for sure.

Strong car. I like it a lot.

The driver needs to work on the damn R/T's, though. It doesn't matter how fast you are if you're giving up over a full second at the tree!

Let's not forget the car's weight...I know they did some weight reduction as well to get it down that quick but seeing as how those GT500s are so heavy to start with I'm assuming that this thing is still hauling some poundage down the track.
If the car weighs in the 3300-3600 pound range (with driver) then it's far from an under achiever IMO.
