thanks devil, but i already have wmv 9.0 and i'm still having problems.
is there a codec or something i'm missing?

ok i think i figured it out. i have winamp set up to play my videos (dunno how or why) so how can i have WMV set as my default media player?

Goto your control panel. Select the Add or Remove programs icon. Select Program acces and defaults on the left hand side. Then select custom and hit the down arrow to the right of it. You'll see how to change the default media player there.

Those instructions are for Windows XP, I don't know if they're the same in other Windows versions.

thanks xlr8n , well i don't think it was that ( i reinstalled it to set it as default) cause i'm still having problems.
