03 Cobra vs GTR
#23
I have read about the GTR in all the crap magazines out there and some articles online. The GTR is pretty much a track car. Not that great of performance in a straight line, but give it some twisty roads and it will dominate most anything out there stock for stock. I still think it is overrated. I'm sure the ZR1 will take it out though.

i think we'll be seeing a lot more of that happening. i'm betting the japs have been parading their highly tuned versions around in attempt to sell them and the real world ones aren't going to stack up as well.

Thats chuckys cobra. Its a o3 cobra with a exhaust, pulley, meth and full suspension with nitto drag radials unless he changed them since a month ago. Suprised he won a race finaly. LOL. Psi is depending on what day you ask sometimes its 18psi and others its 12psi. So its a guessing game with him

dont get me wrong, i give credit where credit is due and that car deserves some credit. its traction system and comp are WAY advanced and im sure there is untapped power in the car. my ego wouldnt be able the handle the beating it would take loosing to cobras, camaros and vettes all day long though. for 100k im rolling a zr1 or HEAVILY modded c6z. ide rather have a beast of a street car that to be able to say "well my car is faster on a road course". and even thats a maybe. all in all, cool car, not my cup of tea thats for sure

umm so what mods to the cobra? for all you know the **** was ported on a 150 hit. Obviously Im assuming it was a pullied car only, but dont discount the GTR before the mods are even known.

The Cobra got a MEAN jump on the GTR and still took three gears to row him in. That's pretty impressive for a stock car.
$100k stock car? Maybe not, but stock nonetheless.
There's A LOT of potential in the Skyline that will start pouring out soon.

Wow, that sucks. Not even a KB/Whipple car (doesnt even sound like a ported eaton scream) and he beat a $90-110K GTR. Sounds about right, both should trap 117-120.
I like how the GTR let off before the Cobra pulled past him in the first vid as he did in the 2nd vid. The Cobra driver didnt do too bad on the launch though.
I guess there is no use in running one aginst a C6Z
