im not a conspiracy theorist, but it sounded like he only shifted to third gear while bringing the revs up. Not being his 1:1 gear ration would skew his dyno results...

I believe that vid is several years old. I'm almost positive that I've seen it before.

It doesn't take a big turbo to make 1,000rwhp with a 427" engine that's built for
boost. A 88 is plenty.

On second listen I think your right. At idle it sounds like its whistling...but when it gets on the dyno yea spools like a turbo.

lol, it's a turbo people... For discerning ears only.

And I don't know of many Prochargers that spool up ahead and back down independent of engine RPM either.

And Prochargers go near-silent at mid to high RPM too.

Unit knows what he's talking about.
