Well, hugger, congrats (belated) on the car. I looked at those in 2009, but went with a Caliber SRT4 for a new DD, as I got it brand new for 18,400. I've never had the CRST4 on the track, so can only go by what is printed on times: low 14 @102ish. I have raced a "stock" Neon form a 50 mph roll, and best him to 120 by 1/2 car.
Now as for my retired DD 99 Z28, I'm just starting to restore it (man does the suspension need a rebuild) but I'm in absolutely no hurry.
My exp. with the Neon SRT4 crowd is that they are kinda snobby, and hate any othe turbo 4 (Esp the CSRT4) I tried to join a certain SRT website to find out info on the CSRT4 and was asked to leave.

Apparently you know all the averages of all the SRT-4's and Cobalt SS's even though the SRT-4 holds a faster stock time.
The Shelby GLHS wasn't fast even though it was a 14.7 car in 1986. The 1986 Corvette ran a 14.4

The last two cars I have owned have both been imports, and the last GM car I owned was over 2 years ago. I sold a 400whp GVR4 about a year ago. You're right buddy; I'm the fanboy.
I'm not the jack *** who came into someone else's thread, wrote nothing about the OP's car, and then went on to talk about the cars that they owned.

Also, a typo concerning numbers isn't a grammatical error. It's not grammatically incorrect to type 2222hp, (even if you meant to type 222hp).
I see YOU managed to make a couple more mistakes, though. Congratulations.
As for the GLHS, again, that is not a fast car. High 14's is not fast. You said nothing about quick for it's time in your original post.

Did someone just say a SRT4 Neon dynos 239 and 250+ tq on a Mustang Dyno and then traps a whoping 101mph in the 1/4mile? Um Someone fooled you with your numbers and it didn't happen. LMAO

Those cars are pretty badass when you crank up the boost. I went for a spin in a friends Cobalt.His is probably a 13.0 car.

The turbo dodges were not quick for their time, and you didn't say quick for their time; you said quick. I could care less how many turbo cars GM or doge has made, they both aren't very good at it. The chrysler K engine was crap and the A855 is crap. I would not call the POS K engine proof that dodge knows how to make a turbo I4. There's also nothing like a partially open-deck block on the A855.
Also, comparing quickest times of cars proves nothing. When comparing the average times of both cars, the cobalt is quicker.
Maybe you're not a fanboy. Maybe you're just a troll for jumping into someone else's thread and posting crap about your own cars to try and prove some point. SRT4 owners.

yup, i figured the tech guys here wuldnt be as excited as me so i nvr really shared that fact.
but it is very very uncommon to see a 4-door SS/tc.
there is about 450 total and as you stated, very few red!
