Is this an LS1 MAF or did I get ripped off?

Is this an LS1 MAF or did I get ripped off?
I bought an "LS1" MAF off of Dan Palmer (sited12).
After 4 or 5 emails, and a few posts here on LS1tech, I received the meter more than 2 weeks after I had sent the money order out. I measured the I.D. of the MAF housing, and it's just under 3-1/4".
I thought the LS1 MAFs were 3-1/2"?
Am I getting ripped off here? I wrote down the serial number of the meter. 83180514483

That sure looks like one to me.
See my MAF porting page to compare:

3.25" = 81.25 mm sounds about right I think the LS1 MAF is 78mm diameter and the ls6 is 85mm right? 3.125" = 78mm
Regardless that definetly looks and sounds like a stock LS1 MAF

Re: Is this an LS1 MAF or did I get ripped off?
ross,
FWIW, I have a pair of stock LS1 MAF ends sitting here and they measure 2-15/16" ID at the inner edge (i.e. the mating surface to the MAF sensor itself - or consider this the minimum ID) and about 3-1/2" OD at the inlet. Not sure if that helps, but I know that if your ends match those measurements you should be alright since (at least in the case of my 2001 4.3L V6) the smaller MAF sensors don't bolt up to the larger LS1 ends. Does that make any sense?
