I paid for the "LS6 Intake" in this thread
https://ls1tech.com/forums/non-autom...l#post10803553
I should've gotten a picture of the bottom side but being a newbie to the LS1 scene, I didn't
. What I received was a stock LS1 intake. Since he shipped it to me BEFORE he even received payment, and answered my first PMs regarding the problem, I thought this would be resolved quickly.
Unfortunately, he has evaporated since his last activity on the board 12/12/08. No response to repeated PMs or posts. I'm out of patience. I'd be willing to work with the guy if money's tight or something but I can't stand being ignored.
If anyone knows this guy, see if you can get him to straighten this mess out. I want my money back, plain and simple, just like he said he would do in his earlier replies.

My money has been refunded (minus the shipping
) and I consider this matter closed.
My only advice is generic and applies to both sellers and buyers.
Sellers: Verify that what you are selling is what you think it is. Usually not a problem but in the case of LS1/LS6 intakes it's worth checking visually or posting the part number to verify.
Buyers: Get pics and/or part numbers to verify what you're buying. If you're an LS1 newbie like I was, ask someone or read this board to educate yourself.
