He got another one, got my money & now won't answer his phone. I'd accept $50 & an admission that what he sent me was misrepresented. Do we see a pattern beginning. Also he says the car he got from LG motorsports was misrepresented, so it that a reason to jam someone else.

yea seems familiar, as you can read below i was sold a motor that was "freshened up". he was putting certain bearings in for me, i got the motor it didn't turn over, then it became my problem. he advised me to pull engine apart and to my surprise mains were bad, were not the bearings he was claiming to have installed and there was debris all in the engine, i tried to come to a agreement but he wanted me to be liable and pay for expenses incurred.

He wanted me to send the rims back to him so he could repair & polish them himself. I told him if they were as represented, they would not need any repairing.

Nothing is wrong with them now. I had the rim that had the bad curb rash welded & I polished it myself. But if you read the linked post & read the original description you'll be able to understand what was wrong. But if you don't feel like going back & read, I'll give you the short version.
First I asked about curb rash even though his description said there wasn't any, again he said there wasn't any, go back & look at the pictures.
Second, he said they were 19x9 & 19x10, they weren't, they were 19x8 & 19x9. I had them measured @ the tire shop.
Third, he said the front tires were Pirellis, they were Dunlops.
Fourth, he said tire sizes were 255/30/19 & 295/30/19, they weren't, they were 245/35/19 & 295/35/19.

How much more can you screw up a for sale ad & not at least admit you were wrong??? All I'm looking for is half of the repair & to admit he mislead me or was wrong.

Oh & being from Louisiana, I've was born & raised here & damn proud of the fact. Of course it don't matter where your from, getting screwed, is getting screwed. Have a nice day. Gerald T

i am sure its not intentional, but when it goes wrong it is obvious to see that it needs to be made right at the buyers expense. glad you had a good experience, i was satisfied with mine until it came time to install the crank pulley on the motor and it did not turn over.

I know if im buying rims that are used im surely not expecting no scratches and whatnot especially for the 1/3 of what they cost new.I usually would ask for close ups of all 4 rims before i purchase anything from anyone no matter what is said. I have seen the rims in person and didnt see anything wrong with them but i really pay to much attention. By the way these were NOT sold on ls1tech so why are you making a thread on a site that it never happened on?

It doesn't matter where I bought them. People use many different boards & cross post on boards all the time. If someone has a bad rep then anywhere he does business they all ought to know.

As far as expecting perfect rims for the price, I was not expecting perfect, but when an ad states no curb rash, thats exactly what I'm expecting, no curb rash. I guess I was raised a long time ago when a mans word really ment something. Thanks, Gerald T

actually it does matter becouse this is the negative feedback forum for stuff purchased on ls1tech not for every other board on the net.

It doesn't matter to me what board I posted it on, I've bought stuff off of both of these forums mentioned in this post. This deal was the very first one I've ever had any kind of a problem with. If it isn't supposed to be here I suppose a moderator will remove it? Or you a moderator?

Nope just someone with enough common sense to know that you dont post problems from another site on here. I guess next time i have a problem with something i bought from amazon or ebay ill post it on here according to your logic? Either way good luck and the rims looked pretty sharp last time i seen them

listen man i already told you i would send you money back of a FULL REFUND. wtf to you want, and it was not curb rash on the rim, from the picture it was some sort of chip covered by the curb guard and i did not see it.

I will give you a refund, i saw the rims for a bout 5 minutes and gave them a quick look over. but please next time call me or leave a message, i didnt even know this thread was here or a problem

you told me if i sent you $50.00 you would be happy, so why is this thread necessary?
