He contacted me about selling a nice set of ported 243 heads with upgraded springs, retainers, & locks. The price was very low, and I was excited about them since they are exactly what I'm looking for. However after noticing he's a new member, we talked about trying to get... will post more to this in a minute in a reply message, want to get posted asap...

After noticing he's a new member, we talked about trying to get me assurance he was a legit seller and that I would be receiving the heads just as described. Well he has no online references, including ebay, and I checked that his paypal account he wanted me to transfer the funds into was just created yesterday. However he provided me with a thirdgen website user id that I could reference, and I done a little searching over there. Turns out that user id on thirdgen is not him. After more searching under that id, I was able to find the email address and the first name of that user is Tony, not Aaron who is trying to sell me these heads. Aaron says it's his brother Tony Redford, however Tony's last name is not Redford (found that out through Facebook). Aaron claims to be originally from NY but he's supposively a student living in the dorms in Evansville, IN now. And, he has no cell phone or house phone. What college kid has no cell phone? So after feeling uneasy at first because of the price & a new member with zero posts, then no references/no phone number, and finally a dishonest answer about identity verification, I respectfully declined the purchase of these heads.
After looking at his page a few more times, it appears he is hitting people up who has posts in the WTB section, which is where he got me. I've already contacted one user who has another WTB ad and he also claims this is a scam after his brief communication with 1fastZO6.

I would have to agree, he was just trying to sell me a 90mm throttle body for $80 shipped to me. So I asked him to send me a picture of it, he sent it to me but in a way that you could only tell it was a factory cable type throttle body that looked like a 3 bolt style. Not a 4 bolt like he said it was so I kept pm'ing with him figuring it was a scam, asked for a picture of the back and he won't send it and kept claiming it was a 4 bolt style 90mm which it is definitely not.

same here he said he had a timing cover for my lt1,i sent him a pm how much and i would pic it up but no response.evansville and 35 min from me i ant saying he is fake but something ant right

It is the same guy,aaronbean...tried selling me a yankss converter with 100 miles on it for 180.00 shipped,did some searching and found out who he really is..I told him my paypal was messed up(which it is),I told him I could western union him the money,he said he had another guy offering him 550.00 and he has paypal...lmao...this guy is an *******...I may take a road trip to Indiana to kick his ***..Anyone else game?

I "bought" some pushrods from him after he said he had some. They were due to be shipped out yesterday but were not. I'm not expecting anything from paypal to happen, but I used AmEx and they are pretty good about refunding my money. I'll post back one way or the other. How broke down and pathetic do you have to be to make scamming people for small amounts of money seem like a good idea?
Note: Just to be clear, I'm not saying 1fastz06 IS a scammer, I'm saying that other guy in the threads linked to above is broke down and pathetic. In the interest of being fair I too have missed promised shipping dates for one reason or another and that in and of itself does not make someone a scammer. At least on his paypal account this Aaron's last name is not bean.
Final edit: He refunded my money without incident, so no harm done.

WS6 Hood from 1 fastz06 I hope I get the Ram air hood from 1fastz06 that I just purchased,There was a mix up on the paypl payment and everything was worked out. and now I am waiting for the hood to ship ? it;s for my daudgter's car after she had a little fender bender and needs a hood for her car. I am overseas and have a crappy internet connection and he was paid through paypal...I 'm in the process of having a friend do the body work and then off to the paint shop. So I only need the hood .while she is away at a school function, so she will be suprised or pissed when she returns home and the car is either fixed or not.... Now what do I do if I don't get it...?????

The Hood Well she is pissed , because I still have not received the hood and have not even gotten an e-mail from the seller...The hood was shipped on the 8 Sept 10, is what I was told. I ask for a tracking number and have not been replied to ,as of today. I need a ram air hood!!!!! Way to treat a service member there....All you need to do is respond, to my PM's....And let me know. This is not away to do business....
