he also must be a ***** for not even cpming to this thread to face whats coming to him. What did he say when you said your making a police report? He can and will get arrrested for that if you press charges. Which you should. If its in his car they will just uave to get someone to take it out. Hope the engine falls out and cracks open.
I've been keeping an eye on this and I will continue to do so.

Admins asked me not to post any personal information, so I won't give out name/information or anything like that.
He hasn't responded to anything I've sent him since he opened the paypal claim against me. I've sent over a dozen emails and PMs with nothing returned.
I agree...it is only helping my case that he does not respond.
Paypal sent me the information yesterday about how to move forward with getting the police report and properly sending it to them. I believe that if a police report is filed and properly headered and faxed to paypal that I should win by default since it's a crime to falsely submit a police report.

Email was just sent to my local PD for assistance in getting this incident report taken care of properly.
When I tried to do it online I ran into a few issues that wouldn't let me continue.

Things seem to be moving pretty quickly now.
The Sergeant of the Criminal Investigations Department is supposed to be getting in contact with me shortly.

Damn Shawn, that sucks about this man. Really hope this all gets taken care of.
Pimpdulla, you're gonna be a cell block bitch if you don't fix this soon. Scam somebody for a camshaft? You're gonna be getting a lot more than just a big lopey LSx shaft after they weigh judgement on you.
I wonder how many other items on that car of his are essentially stolen? Nothing like watching your car being seized and driven by the local PD as an undercover sting car.

At this point it honestly isn't even about me getting my money back. The principal of this is way more important to me.
People like this can't be allowed to get away with this stuff.
Like you said, who knows how many times he has done this or plans on doing it. It's unacceptable behavior whether it's a $5 part or $1000 part.
What sucks is that even if I win, I will have gone through all of this trouble only for a win-win scenario. He still gets my cam...all I'm trying to get is the money for the cam. Oh well. I can only hope that the money is desperately needed and will cause compounded issues for him in the future....I can only hope
Based on where he lives, I think the money might very well be needed.Anyway, like I said, the Admin at the police department said the Sergeant of the Criminal Investigation Division should be getting back to me by tomorrow afternoon. I have until 1/18/12 to get the police report faxed to Paypal.
