Thumbs down dont do business with dream1q

quentin sold me bogarts which he said had 100 miles on them and were mint and it turned out the front tires have bubbles and creases in them so now i have to get new tires and i know he knew about this because he polished the wheels and he is going to play dumb i picked them up so i should have inspected them better but i was tired from the drive and the rims looked nice and also he seemed like an honest person but i would never do business with him again and i suggest no one else does either. https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif

Yeah, dont forget to explain how you drove all the way to my house, loaded the wheels and tires yourself into your jeep, shook hands with me that you agreed they were a good deal, and inspected them yourself as you loaded them. Also, remember how I turned around and came back to dig out the lug nuts that I just threw in for free before you drove away.

You my friend are an extortionist who is trying to slander my good reputation and get a few bucks back for your time. As it stands I already dropped the price 400 dollars so you could afford to drive here to get them. You got a great set of wheels and tires as described for a more than fair price, and YOU agreed they were as expected when you shook hands and loaded them into your car.

If anyone here is suspect, it is you and your attempt to extort me out of another 100 dollars after the fact. Hell, I even left you positive feedback in the trader rating. I thought you were fair and honest, I was obviously wrong.

Not taking sides but nowhere in this explanation did I see you say that there was nothing wrong with the tires. were the tires damaged and you didnt say anything or were they fine and now he is saying that they are damaged? If they were damaged and you didnt say anything then that is pretty messed up regardless of how much money you took off. Now the buyer is also at fault here for not inspecting everything better and saying everything looked good.Gotta cover your own *** cause nobody else is going to.

I did clean the wheels per a request in the original sale thread, and at that time I seen no problems with anything. In fact, in the updating post I suggested that the wheels would need a "good polish" because of them sitting so long, in an attempt to be as open as possible. So not only did he not see anything when he bought and inspected them, I didnt see any issues when I cleaned them either. There is no way in hell I owe this guy 100 bucks.

Wait you drove from il to tenn for wheels? And didn't look them over? Buyer beware. Never trust anyone. You saw them in person and bought them. Weather he said or knew anything waswrong you are responsible for looking them over and accepting them. You don't just through them in your car cause your tired. Spend 5 min to look them over. You can't expect someone to give money back to you cause you saw the product. Bought it and then said something was wrong.
