Default sale gone wrong and need opinions

i sold my ls6 intake and t/b about a week ago and the guy recieved it and said that he was very dissatisfied with the item

https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...her-parts.html this is the sale forum

the purchaser said that i did not give a good description of the intake and t/b when there are clear pics and good details about the intake he complained about how the gasket setup is on the intake even though we private messaged each other back and forth about how he was gonna have to get a new gasket from autozone or napa..

i clearly described how the front of the intake was opened up and would need a paper gasket to seal and he is now complaining about it after the purchase there is about 12 pics of the intake from every direction and now he is complaining about how the paint doesnt look good at all...(i can assure it looks no diff than it does in the pics) also during the emails he emailed me and asked if i would take 450$ shipped for this item and i kindly responded back that i was only asking 410$ (i could have agreed to the 450 and took another 40$) but i told him the truth wanting to be honest with everyone he clearly did not read the post otherwise he would have seen i was asking less for it

He has filed a claim against me with paypal i just wanna know if everyone thinks i am in the wrong for not wanting to give him his money back im not sure why i should have to eat the 30$ shipping for his mistake and neglect to read the info about his purchase

ya screw that, call paypal like was stated, email them the for sale thread or direct them to it in some way. The pics in your photobucket clearly show the intake, and you even said exactly what was done and needed to be done to run it. making a gasket etc. Id fight that tooth and nail

Like everyone else has said, you should be good to go. Looks like its time to go do some investigating in other posts from the purchaser. A username would help....

pay pal ruled against me becuase they said the original post did not say that the intake was bored out even though in the 3rd post it tells how it was bored how and what it looks liek with many pics and i even told the kid through private messages that it was bored and he would need a new gasket they do not use personal messages in disputes and claims unless the item is sold on ebay.. items sold through forums private messages mean nothing she said. such a small detail missed on my part when i first posted it screwed me pretty good i guess it goes to show make sure you leave no details out when selling things otherwise this will happen. this kid didnt pay attention to anything when it got there it wasnt what he wanted and now i have to eat the shipping cost just figured i would give everyone an update and put this as a warning to those who sell things on forums

Did you use a bank account or your credit card thru paypal? If you used your credit card you may be able to dispute it with them.
