i dunno about you but when i go to ship something via paypal i usually pull up my paypal transactions to get the CONFIRMED shipping address. like i said, when i buy something especially something that large i make sure i have my **** together. If he's gonna dispute it make the seller take it back i'd be damn sure he doesn't get it.

Why in the hell would anyone ship to the address not on PayPal, your buddy fucked up and screwed him over cause your retarted friend doesn't know his own address simple as that or are you retarted like him and can't comprehend that it's his fault

Ok I'll break it down for those who are a little slower, I'll just blame it on the slow moving brain cells from being half Canadian.

Buyer lived at one house, has address linked to his paypal. Buyer moves to new address. Buyer adds new address but doesnt make it his primary. Buyer pays for goods. Buyer realizes that he has the wrong address in the transaction he sent to the seller. Buyer gives seller new address. Seller agrees to send to address listed in email.

Yes it was a mistake to not have the address he wanted the items shipped to, listed as the primary. But when he tells the seller he wants it sent to a different address, and the seller says OK, but then sends it to the other address anyway, thats messed up. If it was an issue of addressing, all he had to do was refund the money and have it resent with the correct address linked to the paypal. They had each other's contact information (obviously) and it was agreed that it would be sent to the address provided via e-mail. The guy selling pretty much just said **** you, and sent it to the other address.

I never said the f word in any of my emails! If Justin doesn't live at the address listed in pay pal why is there to begin with?! I told you that he will get the standalone or money back but he decided to go through pay pal which pissed me off!

If this would have been settled outside of pay pal and my account was not negative then I wouldn't be so god damn upset! This is why I created this thread, so why don't you stop posting for friends and we can handle this like it should have in the first place.

You guys clearly don't see the trader feedback I have and decided to be dicks about everything which is why I became an *******! My intent was never to screw anyone over like you guys have to be cause more I can't use pay pal.

both of his addresses are CONFIRMED in paypal he just clicked the wrong one when he sent the money and then sent a email telling him to send it in the other one and it was agreed to. both sides are a lil fucked fucked up and this was blown way out of proportion for no reason.

Read this whole thread and still don't know what the problem with boosted is. Why do people use Paypal? Because of situations like this, you buy something, it doesn't show up you contact Paypal get your money back. Isn't that the purpose of using their services? Your Paypal account is negative because you took the money out and so they charged you to get Boosteds money back. Transfer the money back, wait for your part to return from UPS and sell it to someone else. I'm sure you would do the same if you were the buyer and didn't get your $500 dollar part. Sucks for both of you as it's a waste of time but there's no need to bash boosted over a mistake with a Paypal address, we're all human.

The seller should at least take a picture of the UPS receipt with tracking information and the address it was shipped to so it can at least be confirmed that it was actually shipped in the first place. Not saying he didn't but it would relieve him of any doubt that he did/did not ship it.

I dont leave money in my account, I building a motor and the money is spent! See the issue here? If you would step back and realize you aren't getting screwed over this would have never got this far. How many times do I need state that he would get his part or money without pay pal intervention.

If he didn't get his item cause it got lost or damaged I would refund his money through my credit card! Instead you choose to go this route which is not how wanted to handle this and pissed me off!

Apparently trader feedback and post counts don't mean anything anymore. This just like eBay you don't deal with people that are scammers. If I ever scammed anyone on here in the 38 transactions I have done it would be listed!!!

I just did a big deal with TA69230... $2k and it was smooth as could be. The trans is at RPM getting refreshed right now and if I got screwed ill know for sure shortly...but everything happened exactly like he said, came with more stuff than was advertised, and im confident it was a good deal.

That said, it seems like this is just a **** sandwich and everyone is gonna have to take a bite, unfortunately. Ryan can delete this thread when everything works out...he is the one out the money AND the part at the moment.

My only question is why is this friend of boostedcatfish the one doing all the talking? Certainly *could* be sketchy. But Its likely that both these guys are good guys, its just TA69230 is the one holding the bag and is understandably pissed.

He owns both houses and just recently moved.

Its just a matter of protecting his money. He's not gonna screw over. I'd put anything on that.

I'm not saying that the OP is sketchy or even anything remotely close to that. Just shedding some light on the situation. The only reason that Justin isnt posting in here is because he doesnt want to get involved in the LS1Tech shitstorm. I, on the other hand, have no problem doing such. He's not real big on internet forums either.

If he owns both houses then what is the issue here? It should have got delivered and then you can get the item from the other house. I don't get it!!!!! If he owns both houses then USPS would have (should have dropped it off) and then you should have your stand alone.

Then you have it shipped from one address to the other. See how i am started to think I am getting scammed!? I am pretty sure you would be suspicious too.

So what is the deal why are there two address?! Please tell me if you are shedding light on this issue, because I would really like to know. Who lives at the address I sent the stand alone to?

It does sound pretty shady when you put it like that. But no one lives at the other house. He just got off active duty and moved back home, to his current house. The one in Jacksonville is listed for rent through a realty company, and the neighbor takes care of the mail for him. I dont know whats up with the package on USPS. You have the tracking number so you can see the same thing we see when we check the status. There's no addresses, just a city and the status.

I get the stand alone back I will contact you! Justin or whoever can pay pal me the money and I will ship it out to the correct address. I also think it would be fair that you cover the extra money it is going to cost me to get my account to a zero balance. I think that this is an appropriate action.

I tell you what, I'll personally paypal you out of the negatives right now if you want. I just want it to be clear that no one here is trying to scam anyone. Just in overprotect mode I supppose,He and I both have been scammed a few times with some pretty clever tactics which is why I suggested he open the claim in the first place just to make sure. This has got to be some world record for paypal to give the money back within 12 hours with no questions asked.

Why would he be pissed that the wrong address was on the paypal. It was an honest mistake to not change it over, and thought it would be cleared up by a simple email. No big deal. And even if it had been delivered to the "wrong" address. Its only a 4-5 ish hour drive (one way) to go get it. Its just that it says that its not delivered or deliverable.

I work for FedEx: Does the house in Jville have a for sale/rent/any kind of sign out front? Drivers sometimes refuse to leave packages at homes that appear vacant in the case of fraud or possible illegal activities- not trying to say anything sketchy was going on, Boostedcatfish is a friend and know he's trust-worthy. Just saying that if there is anything at the house for the delivery driver to be under the impression it's vacant then that may be the reason it was not delivered. Just my .02 hoping to try to help shed light on what MIGHT have happened.
