Default Beware of BOOSTEDcatfish!!

This guy is disputing our transaction on PayPal because he did not provide the correct shipping information. His paypal address is his old address and it is not current. He failed to update his address and when he sent the money pay-pal noted his old address as the "shipped address." This is where I sent the item to and now is claiming it my fault.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING YOUR PAYPAL ADDRESS UP TO DATE!!!!

If you wanted it shipped somewhere else you should have noted this in the details section of transaction before sending the money!

If I escalate the issue to pay-pal do you think I will win?!

I'm sitting here right next to him, and literally just read the email he sent to you telling you he sent you the money and the correct address where he wanted to ship it to. The problem about everything is, that you took a week to give him the shipping confirmation, which turns out you shipped it a week later that originally promised. Not only that, when he asked why you shipped it to the wrong address and not the one he asked you to send it to, you got an attitude and said it wasnt your problem. So I told him to dispute it on paypal in case it got resent back to you so he wouldnt get the shaft. Its funny that you take forever to respond to emails once you had the money, but as soon as he filed the claim, you have been blowing up his email. List all the facts next time you make a **** talking thread.

I don't know who you are and this is between Justin and I so please keep your remarks to youself.

FYI look at my post count and trader feedback vs BOOSTEDcatfish 's post count and trader feedback. I have been doing this since 2005 and I have never ever screwed anyone over. I don't need to argue with you on the internet. I simply stating the facts as to what happened.

If the seller ships an item to any address other than the Paypal verified address he has no protections or recourse if the buyer claims he never received the item. If the buyer opens a dispute in Paypal the seller will automatically lose the money and the item. I will NEVER ship to any other address than the verified one.

Both of his addresses are in there as verified addresses., and he accidentally didnt select his new one. Normally I would say that its his fault. But when he specifically says he accidentally put the wrong address on there, and then gives you the new address, you could have just refunded the money and had him resend it. You chose to be the "excellent seller" and just send it anyways knowingly to the wrong address and tell him its not your problem. He doesnt get on forums much aside from the local ones, which is why he doesnt have trader ratings.

I know the buyer and he wouldn't scam anyone. Look at my trader rating...

This just happens to be a accident that it was shipped to the wrong address whether it was yours or his fault only you two will know but the buyer would not scam anyone over a part.

Just because the snow is getting deep in MN doesn't mean the BS needs to. Buyer supplied the correct address, has multiple addresses in PayPal, blah, blah...

Wait for the return package and continue on with life, contact UPS they will change the shipping address if it has not already been delivered.

I really don't know who you are and making stuff up is not going to solve this. There is only one address listed in Pay pal (at least there was unless he just updated it) when I shipped the item. I sent to the address that was on the pay pal account! There was no other address provided. Can you please show me where he provided another address other than his words or him saying he did ? Do you have documentation stating to send it to another address?

If you want I can provide screen shots of the USPS tracking number next to Justin's pay-pal account that says "Shipping address"!

Unfortunately i don't know the buyer and what kind of possibly scam is being pulled here ( If he is being truthful I dk, I would think I am not getting scammed but I am covering my *** too). You act like I am going to scam someone here!! You can tell from my 30+ feedback that I have not scammed anyone since I have been on this site.

Now I have a negative balance in my pay-pal account and can't continue to finish building my car until this is resolved.

If i do get the item back then I will be in contact with BOOSTcatfish and we can resolve this. Until then this thread is legitimate and will not be deleted. Once everything is cleared I will remove all information. I believe this is fair!

I've know the seller for a long time, a friend of mine, and have dealt with him. Transam69230 wouldn't screw anyone over and I feel bad for him cause he's the one that got screwed over. Now he's out 500 when Paypal took the money back and the transmission hasn't shipped back to him. Seems like a typical Paypal scam to me. Like said, he has to ship to the correct address on the paypal account for Paypal to cover anything so now he's fucked over.

Sorry to say but it is nobody else's fault but the buyer's responsibility to make sure his shipping address is up to date. what does it matter when the seller sent the confirmations number, it still would of been too late and still would of been the wrong address. i recently moved to a new house and i managed to change my adress and get my products shipped to my new house with no problems. when you send money or buy things it even asks you to verify your address, its not the sellers fault and you even admit that in your posts, if its not your fault then maybe its paypal and you should take it up with them! i dunno about you but if i was spending $500 on a rather large item i'd be damn sure i had all my ducks in a row!

man up and take responsibility for your actions, thats the problem with this damn country, it always someone else's fault.

The only point where I'm coming from, is that if it was an issue that he emailed you a different address and you said you would ship it to that address and you shipped it to a different address... in which it was never even delivered there either. He has correct addresses in paypal, he owns both houses/addresses linked to his paypal. He simply didn't change it when sending the money.

If you own both houses then why don't you just go get it if its at your other house? so if it wasn't delivered where did it go then? i always used confirrmed address's for this reason alone

Because the other house is 5 hours away, and following the tracking number says it was undelivered. The neighbor (retired marine) always gets the mail etc that come to the house, until he gets a chance to come back to town and get it.

THE PACKAGE WAS NOT DELIEVERED AT ALL. Thats the problem. And it really wasnt a big deal until this thread and the escalation of the emails from the seller.

that doesnt even make sense. So what you're saying is, if I get delivery confirmation on something, it won't get delivered?

are you people ******* stupid? it shows right in the screen shot where he sent the money and the address and the guy agreed to it, it didnt get sent to either place. how are you possibly trying to pin this on boosted? one guy wants his part and the other guy wants his money, so maybe the guy with the part should find it and make it happen.
