User "SAPPER" sold me a warped pressure plate
A few months back I purchased a used Monster stage 2 clutch disk and pressure plate from SAPPER, who stated the unit had 800 daily driven street miles and that they were both in good condition.
After receiving the items and having them looked at by a professional I was told the disk had about 1-2k miles left on it and that the pressure plate was warped.
A proper waste of 250 dollars, what I was sold is literally trash and has no use whatsoever.

I had the same concern years ago with my monster stage 3 disks and bought another clutch. After I bought, I had an indepth conversation with Steve at monster, and come to find out the disk I had still had aprox 80% life left in it. With the type of material and such used, the older "its close to the rivets" guessing doesn't work. You have to actually use a caliper/micrometer to measure the precise thickness to determine its remaining life.

And I'll rebutt this now that I see it. Clutch worked perfect when I took it out. Also it did have very low miles. It was in a AutoX car and had some drag pulls on it. Right before it was taken out, it had no problem cutting a 1.6 60' on a stock LS1.
But then you try to file a claim over 9 months later??? Really??
