long story guys,please be patient...Hugger SS(derrick b.), possible bad seller??? i bought a Th350 from him over a month ago. he stated it was a Rossler unit. we agreed on a price of $2000 and we would meet half way on delivery. upon delivery, i asked about the receipt for the tranny since he said it was new and never used. derrick stated that he forgot it at home and would mail it to me ASAP. i was ok with that. days later i called him to ask if he sent it and he said he was trying to get a copy from the place he purchased it from. thats where things started to go wrong. i wanted to send the th350 back to rossler for a lock up conversion, but i need that receipt to give carl rossler the order # so he can look up what parts were originally installed on the trans. well needless to say, i never got the receipt. carl asked me for the serial # on the th350, he could use that info to find what he needed to know. i read the serial # , but carl said that was not one of his transmissions. i was stunned, i called derrick back and he swore it was a rossler unit. derrick then said he would call his friend that placed the order originally.

a week later i call to find out the latest from derrick. well according to him, his buddy had ordered 3 transmissons from 3 different places. apparently, his friend gave derrick the wrong transmission. derrick promised to get to the bottom of matters, so i figured he was good on his word. another week passes and i call derrick, he now says that i did get the wrong transmission BUT ITS A BETTER TH350 SINCE IT WAS BUILT BT TRANS-KING.

at this point i was confused . but i was willing to settle on this transmission anyway if it was able to handle low 10 sec-high 9 sec. passes. he guranteed it would and promised to send the paperwork on that th350(receipt). as of now, i am still waiting but my patience has been stretched thin. i knew most of his excuses were from the beginning, but i figured i only live 2 hours from the dude in case something goes wrong. looks like there may be a home visit soon...

derrick, if you read this call me asap to fix this situation. i have given you the benefit of the doubt, but you apperently abused it...remedy this situation now.

if i dont get documentation proving that the tranny is "new" and that it is built by a reputable company, i want a complete refund. its bad enough the tranny wasnt a Rossler Th350 as advertised, but upon removing the transmission pan there was about 2-3 quarts in it. i have talked to derrick and he is addressing the situation. i will let you know what happens PSJ. thank you for your response PSJ.

Damn sure are a lot of threads with positive feedback for Hugger SS that he just responded in, some from several months ago. Hmmmmmm

 

bottom line is that the tranny was not as advertised. i have seen this tranny in person and it looks just like any other TH350 with a transbrake and new paint. i am sure that huggerSS probably thought it was a Rossler when he sold it but now that he himself found out it wasn't, he is still resposible for the sell and should give the money back. the main reason that 1QWIKZ bought it was because it was advertised as a brand new Rossler with warrenty and he knows that those are some of the best trannys ever built. now even huggerSS does not know what it is. it could be some core that was built by some mom and pop speed shop that was sold for $800 new to some one and then resold as a Rossler for $2000. with out the origanal paper work there is no telling.
