LS1rscamaro quick seller update: PCM IS BAD

Got my tracking number right away and PCM as promised. I haven't installed it yet so I dont know if it works, but the transation was top notch..

Well looks like this is not going good, the shop just told me the PCM is bad. They just put it on their bench tester and it's a no-go. I have a PM and Email out to LS1rscamaro right now.

That is a croc. No one sells faulty PCMs to other people. Square this up and give the guy back his money.

You got it 5 months ago and just now realize it is bad? I dont get it? Did you just now install it or did it just now go bad?

Yup, it's been sitting in my computer room waiting for all the parts to show up and the shop to have an available slot. I am doing an LS1 conversion on an '83 so there were a freaking TON of parts I had to get together from all over. The car is at a sponsers shop, NLP so if you don't believe me ask them. I would rather have the freaking PCM working, because they are to the point where they are ready to fire the engine. Oh and btw, the car has been in the shop since 2/8/06.

Well LS1rscamaro responded to my email I sent him and I replied with what is going on and a link to this thread. He said he bought the PCM off another user here but never used it himself (he ended up not needing it). He also said he doesn't have any money right now and offered to work something out in parts, but my response was I already bought all the parts I need and I can't think of anything (at the end of the install so I'm sure there is nothing I forgot).

I couldn't wait for this to get resolved and just have the car sit at the shop so I ordered another PCM from wait4me and it should be at the shop today. I had to pay $85 for that including shipping. I told LS1rscamaro via email that if we can work out something for the $85 it would be fine with me. I just need a working PCM.
