Was it Kevin? I've bought from him and was 100% satisfied. He's a good guy in my book.

I don't know his name, and yeah I thought of using the silicone, but the damn thing is MELTED!. And then to top it off it's in two pieces the part with the white and blue. I should've just spent the extra 15 bucks and bought a new piece, whatever you live and you learn....****!

Have you tried to plug it in? I wouldnt jump the gun, I was checking mine out when I had the engine out it looks like complete **** BUT it still works the same as it did the day I got it. Plug it in and test it before you toss it, you may find it works afterall.. no matter how ugly it looks.

Why don't you try before flaming somebody?

69TA sold me a 10 bolt rear with 4.11's loaded that were QUIETER than the factory diff I removed. He gave me a killer deal and shipped it covering some of the cost himsef.
Why would he shaft somebody over $15 stinking dollars?

Try it before you **** on his reputation. If it works you'd better post that it was good and that you're an *** for spouting off.

Kevin is usually pretty fair, did you test it first? He had a baby recently so his board presence might be spotty.

Not only that but no update since 11/24,was this resolved by the seller if the part was bad or did it work and you dont want to make it right by apologizing?

I'm assuming the part works since its been added to his list of modifications in his personal profile. I believe a public apology is in order(i.e. say you're sorry in this thread).

Default Skip shifter

Wow, this is the first time I heard about it this. The skip shifter works fine. It's not burnt, broken or anything of the sort. There is a piece of silicone that covers the resistor and the resistor is black. So guess one could assume that it was burnt. The part that you are referring to as the second piece is actually a cap to be used on the tranny side.

To everyone above thank you for the support,
Kevin

Buyers or sellers who leave phony feedback should be punished in some way. This is just completely unacceptable.

Also, the mods should change the name of this thread to indicate that it is untrue. I mean, I wouldn't want a thread titled "Sharpe is a scammer!!!!!" in a message board where I conduct business. You do good business on here and your name shouldn't be drug through the mud like this.

I'm going to post a message in the User Support & Resources forum about this.

Its been taken care of by Brains. I have seen this thread but hadn't seen the negative feedback for you Kevin. Sorry for not taking care of it! Been pretty busy with my wedding that was Saturday.

Sharpe, I agree with you completely.

I have changed the title from "69TA is a scammer!!!!!" to "problems with purchase from 69TA". If/when we can get some kind of resolution on this, we can also add "(resolved)" to it

It sounds like the thread should just be deleted as there appears to be no issue.
