he sold me some ttop shades stating that he would promptly ship after recieving payment. i sent paypal and now he wont respond to email or pm. after further investigation i found that he sold these same shades back in August of 2005!

I don't understand, it's been 1 day how can you be sure he's ripped you off?

Maybe the buyer backed out last time? Maybe he had another set and just used the same pictures?

Give him some time at least, no need to jump to conclusions when it's only been 24 hours.

That's not August, that's October! The end of October, too - just three months ago.

I'm thinking the previous buyer backed out.

If he was really trying to rip people off, I doubt he would have relisted them for even cheaper than they were the first time.


You just paid for them yesterday morning!! Maybe he's just waiting to respond till he has the package ready to go out.

He took my money too for the Lid and has not responded to emails or PM's, the User profiles says that he has not visited the site since 2/2/06 funny that is exactly when I paypaled the money for the Lid. I already launced a complaint with paypal.

Andrew Higgins?? SMAX said Lennyd's name was Shane Galloway! And of course his username makes it sounds like his name is Lenny something.

Definitely some scamming going on if he's telling people completely different names.

The email address registered in his profile here is doolanv@yahoo.com . In his most recent posts (now restored), though, it seems he is using the pubcrawl3r@yahoo.com address.

His most recent posts were from the BellSouth and Comcast addresses in Georgia -- including the ones in the threads below where he claimed to be located in Dallas, Texas instead of Dallas, Georgia.

I restored the three threads he had deleted in the Parts For Sale forum.

Nice detective work guys! I hope the FBI is knocking on his door real soon. I feel so bad when I hear these stories cause I buy from ls1tech folks all the time and I've always been lucky to find the experience excellent. It's a shame a few bad apples have to spoil it.

Might want to call the dean of the school and let them know they have a theif that may be using the schools network to rip people off. Might not work but worth a try.
