I paid for some spings on the 8th, the first day he was supposed to ship them out, he said he hurt hius arm at work and would get his girlfriend to ship them, next day said they were shipped after I pm'd him at 9:30 that night. Next day said he hadnt talked to his gf, but would shoot me a tracking number the next day, havent heard from him since, he signs on about everyday and was on today, I am going to file through paypal, but prolly wont recieve the $150 he owes. I just hope no one else goes through this.

 

I'll PM him this on LS2. He's on there quite often.

 

thanks man, he is on here almost everyday, but he hasnt replied to any of my pm's, nor does he even read them. I just want my money or the springs, I am a very patient guy, and I trusted him that he did in fact hurt his arm, but I havent received any word in almost 2 weeks.

I don't know if this will help or not, he told me on LS2 that she shipped them and threw out the slip. He was a bit upset by this b/c he didn't want to be labeled a scammer. I suggested that he get in contact with whoever he shipped them thru and they should be able to track it for him. I also told him to talk to you about it. If he hasn't then I don't know what to tell you. I'm not trying to play "middleman" or "go-thru-guy" here, I'm just letting you know what he has told me. I still have the PM's if you'd like to see them. FWIW, he's never given me or anyone I know any reason not to trust him.

 

I appreciate your help very much, I only called him a scammer because he hasnt contacted me in over 1.5 weeks, I have no springs, nor a tracking number. He hasnt even replied nor read any of my pm's. I will be more than happy to remove the thread and give even a positive feedback if they were shipped already, but for lack of tracking number, contact, and springs, I cannot do so now. Tell him if he can pm me within 2 days and give me a valid tracking number, I will remove the post, otherwise, it stays. I will also cancel the paypal refund, thanks.

Still no word from the guy, he hasnt pm'd me, nor sent the money back, PayPal has been notified though and are investigating him. I hope this gets resolved soon.

Jake I was thinking the same thing, but just because he is in the military doesnt make him an honest person. I will hopefully receive my refund through paypal soon, if he has any money in his paypal account.

 

So why is he still being able to use ls1tech.com? DOnt we usually ban scammers on him or at least suspend them until they make it right? Can any mods help me out on this? OPf course his paypal had absolutely no money to refund me so I am out $150 and this guy is still using this site. I hope he doesnt just resign up and scam someone else.

 

Scammers can create and open as many accounts as they want under other usernames on ls1tech or any other forum to get money out of honest ppl, if u see what I mean, it is useless to suspend or ban them IMO.

There are many different methods of bannishment. Most people don't have dynamically changing ip's through thier provider and some people don't know how to release and renew thier ip to get a new one. In most cases a ip ban can mean the end for most of the bad guys.

 

I feel your pain on this......As for being in the service, he should take into perspective that he is supposed to uphold honor and integrity. If you really want to get at him, try and find out where he is stationed, his name, and unit he is assigned to and take grievence with his chain of command.

You will get some results that way.
