If anyone has his number, please call him and tell him to square up immediately. This is ridiculous.

i don't know? i thought i was safe since he had a good post and trader rating and a moderator?

i do know that people run into hard times once and a while, yet! i think i gave him plenty of time to get things going and try to fix this. but all i get is "story after story"

I'm sorry he stiffed you. I vouched for him as he was a customer of mine and he always was a stand up guy. Now I guess the dumbass has gotten a case of "Head up the ***" syndrome. If there is anything I can do to make it right let me know.

Well I am a fucktard! I just got home yesterday after being in the deserts of Utah since I pretty much moved up here. Jeff remember a month or so ago when I said I would send you the money as soon as I returned from Utah....well that didnt happen till yesterday. I kept getting asked to work over so I did, major OT. Im here now and just logged on seeing Tonys PM so I went straight to the post office and Priority mailed you a $300 check. I doubt the extra 100 makes up for all of this bs but its my way of saying sorry. I never tried to stiff the guy, I just quit my job then all of my savings went bye bye so I was broke and had already given Jeffs money to my roommate for rent so I had nothing to refund him and no money to ship the springs. Ended up selling the springs locally later on so I would have gas money to get to interviews...non of which turned out. Got a job up here and been working over an hour drive in the desert ever since, no where near a town, no phone, no computer. But enough excuses, your money is sent and then some, hope it helps. Tony and Brian, guys I sincerely appreciate you sticking up for me and I am sorry it seemed as though you were burned by me, not the case but thats how it seems. I would never do anything to any member on this site to hurt their image or make enemies. Jeff if there is anything else I can do to resolve this let me know. Even though I am here I leave in less than an hour to go back to the ******* desert, lol, but I will hopefully be back next thursday, if I am stuck working over again I will talk to you guys when I can. Reject sucked my *****. Later!!

Despite the fact that I, as a moderator of another LSX-based site, don't think that such an ordeal should have had to come this far, I'm glad it got resolved. Sending and extra $100 is a good effort at trying to right the situation, but, as I said..... it should never have gotten that far.

Glad it's all better, but as a moderator, you should have known better. Doing such a thing somewhat ruins the reputation of every other mod or respectable member on the entire board.

Sending back the original $200 + $100 is a good gesture by Dustin, works for me.

Agreed.

Everything before that may have been a little out of place, but refunding 150% was over and above.

Good job.

well! this would be all good "if" i was not sent a "personal" check on a texas account, while he now lives in colorado. then the check was altered and the bank would not except it "and" the check was "no good"!!! insufficent funds!!

i have tryed three times to see if the check would clear and "no" funds avalible.

so sending me a "personal check" is not what i requested, i want a "usps money order" the same thing i sent. same as cash! so this is "not resolved"

wow i just read this...man i dont see how he can keep his mod status after putting 1bad71 through even more after all this time. And saying his story is 100% true there is still no reason not to man up and take care of this without making you post about his failure to pay!

wow man, sorry for your luck. I hope it works out for you. I read this whole thread and I would be pissed. After everything, he sends you a personal check with no funds?!?!?.

I think he is trying to fix his mistake, but I think he should step it up a lil. Atleast you still have somewhat contact with him, because most people will ignore you and take your money.

good luck, and im sure it will all work out.

I've sent another PM to Dustin, informing him of this crap. I've removed him as a moderator here.

My offer still stands, I'll send you the refund myself if you want it. This crap is beyond ridiculous.
