Matt Phillips (00TurboT/A) is a liar and a cheat - stay away! Bought a TTi turbo kit from this guy. He lied in his ad, said the kit was complete and it was not. He also said the kit had 3" downpipe, it did not. Said he would ship the intercooler to me after it was unpacked, he never shipped it.
He said he bought the kit new from TTi, well he didn't. He actually bought his car with the kit on it. He never bought anything from TTi.
He also said the kit was "as TTi made it". Well it's not, the crossmember he included in the kit won't even bolt up to my car.
This guy is a real piece of trash, no doubt about it. He won't do anything about any of these issues.
He said he bought the kit new from TTi, well he didn't. He actually bought his car with the kit on it. He never bought anything from TTi.

Mods, is guy worth banning? At first I thought no because even if he was banned it would get me nothing. But, I dont think a guy that openly lies about merchandise he is selling should be on here. At least banning him would stop him from buying/selling stuff on this site.

The agreement to send the original intercooler was made over the phone, but verified in writing thru multiple PM messages. I can post them up entirely if needed, but here are some excerpts.
"Everything is there as it should be except the original intercooler and that was my mistake and I will be sending it to you. Thanks, Matt." 7-18-06
"I will keep my word and send you the other intercooler as soon as its unpacked and the instructions when they come in." 7-19-06
"Enjoy your kit and I will send the intercooler out in a few days as I said I would. I am unpacking everything this weekend and will find it." 7-20-06
"Yeah I have came to the conclusion that I found your intercooler and 3 wastegate springs that I have boxed up and ready to go out monday and thats about it." 7-23-06
At this point I want monetary compensation for the intercooler since I have already bought one from RyanK. I would also like compensation for the parts that were missing or incorrect. The crossover he gave me was not a TTi part, it would not bolt onto my car. We have already been over the steering lines and downpipe with no resolution. I have had to put a substantial amount of time and labor into correcting these problems, most of which I should never have had to worry about if the kit was as advertised.
I also find it quite disturbing that he openly lied about buying the kit in the first place. He told me he bought all new from TTi, but his friend Josh says he bought the car with it on it. Complete lie, and he is still buying/selling stuff on this site.

Well, let's add a bad turbo to the list of offenses now. This turbo was supposedly just rebuilt with new seals and bearing. Well, it billows smoke due to bad seals. This is incredible, not sure if any of this kit is actually functional or as advertised.
