I'd suggest asking for photos of items purchased, as well as full contact info from all buyers and sellers. That includes addresses, phone numbers, hell even their employer name. Honest buyers/sellers do not have a problem disclosing this info.

I agree, that's all I was looking for. Thanks for your help!

You need at least 50 posts or 6 months on this board to post an ad
Copy and pasted from the For Sale Section.

I know what you are saying.

According to paypal, they will be freezing his account until he pays up. Then they will sent it to collections which will ruin his credit. Either way at some point I will get some of my money back. I just think it is sad how ignorant people are.

It's pretty obvious who the bad guy is here: Dude can't show a receipt from USPS (I always save mine, just in case). He didn't pay the additional $1 that USPS charges for tracking/delivery confirmation on the package for a $300+ order. He doesn't have any pictures of his item, and didn't post any in the thread. I think we all know who the bad guy is here. Just sucks he had to bilk someone in the process. Next time he'll remember to use package tracking (USPS loses **** all the time in my neighborhood, and all over the USA for that matter).

While it's a little late and this has been stretching on for months, I can also vouch for FirstGen's character. He's a member at at least two forums I'm a regular helping member of, he has helped out several times on my buildup and install and has a flawless reputation over at the classic truck forum we're both members at.

Sucks you got burned, hope you get your refund. His address should have been including in the paypal information - contact his local police department and file a theft report against him also. Ruining his credit isn't enough. Small claims court is also an option - when you file suit against someone, it often shows up in local papers - My soon to be mother-in-law has done this to at least two high-end clients to her design business, one of which was a well known baseball player If this guy doesn't have a reputation to uphold or name to protect, that may not help though.

Nope, nothing. I followed up with paypal and they said basically they wait 120 days and then they will send collections after them. Either way I think he is probably ignorant enough to mess up his credit for 300 bones. Heck it's probably already screwed.

Are there any updates to the remaining funds due to buyer?

(this is ONLY for the buyer and seller to respond to)
