Default 991lez (do not deal with this guy)

Bought a TSP 231/237 598/595 LSA114 from this guy on LS1.com (here is the link), First he kept giving me the runaround claiming to have sent the cam to a shop to be polished because some scratches in one of the lobes. After a month and no cam and I put a dispute with Paypal. I gave him plenty of notice that I was taking these actions, in the hopes that he would make right on the deal. But he acted like I was been the bad guy. After much complaining on his part (even though I was very accommodating) and various emails he shipped me a cam. At the time I didn't know how to verify that what he sent was what he said it was. I trusted that it was what he said it was so I dropped the dispute. A couple of weeks ago after many months of gathering all the necessary parts I installed this cam. I started the cam and was welcomed to good idle and no indications that I had indeed swapped the cam. After a trip to the Dyno to get a tune was welcome to the fact that I lost 10hp. After discussing this with my tuner we determine that there is no way this cam is what he said he was and that in fact sounded like it was his stock cam. So after $275 and many month a money for supporting mods I'm worst that where I began.

I'm posting this to hopefully keep someone from getting scammed by this guy.
