First of all, he cannot come on these boards and represent himself as a police officer. Second of all, he has been harassing me for weeks now with threats and taunts.
I am very casual about it, he has no authority or jurisdiction anyway. Just because he's a cop in IL doesn't mean anything. Any fraud case is strictly a civil matter, not criminal.
I don't see where just b/c he has a badge, everyone is quick to believe him, that doesn't mean he's right and I am in the wrong.

Notice that all of his posts have been edited by him after the fact. He went back and removed the false statements, profanity, and incriminating information.
After I first viewed his original ad on November 8th I contacted him via e-mail and inquired about the condition of the changer. He claimed it was "perfect, in pretty excellent shape". Here is a cut n paste of that e-mail:

Another member of the forum sent me a heads-up that he operates on several forums and on eBay with some pretty bad feedback. Bay/User/E-Mail IS's included zohhsix, insanels1, ls1vettecya, ssforu2nv, jsemotorsports, crazyvette, zo6e, zo6ed, and oneluvdiva.
On Nov 22nd I asked eBay for the ID info of Zohhsix, here is what they sent:

I then began asking other people he had sold items to on eBay about their transactions via e-mail.

Actually, I was scammed by Sgt538, and I have 27 complaints filed against him. Maybe I should postall the e-mails I received from people who he's ripped off. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
We don't need to see who the liar is. All e-mails were forwarded to your supervisor. Nice try though. And "a few select e-mails to your boss"? Try around 60.
For anyone else who wants to believe the BS Sgt posts all over about me, here's a link off Ls1.com for a recent transaction I had. Diesel, who is also the moderator on this board can vouch for me as well, as we had a ZR1 wheel deal a while back.

2) I will do what I can to help prosecution of scammers too.
3) I will keep in mind anyone who is messing around on Ebay or other sites, but only if I can see that the person is shady, ie, link me to threads etc.
